10 tips for lower back pain relief: Tip #5 - Workspace Ergonomics

Where do most of us spend majority of our time? Work.

Nine to five job is nothing but a ghost of the past. Inactive activity is on the rise(read Active Inactivity and Teletubbies), days are long and incidents of lower back pain and obesity are on the rise.

We work.

A lot.

Properly designed workspace has power to make your life more bearable by reducing existing lower back pain or lowering chances of experiencing this “treat” later on.

When working from home or office, insist on a proper work surface setup. Hight of the desk and chair should be comfortable for you.

    Add in some stretches for the tight muscles, reflexes to stimulate weak muscles, learn to realign your spine and balance your pelvis and back pain can actually disappear.

    There are many of you with back pain in the workplace and many with no back pain at all. Those without back pain have a good functioning spinal system, something those with back pain lack.

    If you learn to correct all the factors of back pain (which you can do at home) then back pain does not need to be in the workplace.
