Posted on | August 4, 2011 | 1 Comment

Lets face it, exercise is important. It assures quality of life and keeps you happy and healthy.

But it can be expensive, inconvenient and uncomfortable.

Key to a successful exercise program is attainability and feasibility.

Here I’m showing you how to exercise, how to start your program.

1. Walk daily – find a park, street, mall or area that you like and walk there. Every day.
2. Start doing body weight exercises. Squats, lunges, twists, step-ups, pull-ups go a looong way.
3. Eat healthier. Replace soda drinks with water and cut down on sugars.

Your sample program can look like this:
1. 40 minute walk
2. 20 squats
3. 20 crunches
4. 10 step-ups per side (use a stair)
5. 5 burpees
6. rest 1 minute then go back to #2 on the list and repeat. Keep going for 15-20 minutes.

Exercises #2 through #5 are done in a sequence with minimal rest.

Enjoy!

Remember, this is for a complete beginner. If you are more advanced, you must challenge your body with higher training volume and intensity.

What is your fitness program like? How effective is it?
